Snowy In the Rockies

Hey, well it is definately winter here in Colorado.
I don't mind the moisture, even though there is very little in the snow. The real problem is the temperature, can't dye if it is not 30 degrees and sunshine. There is hope of all the elments coming together later today.

I have been trying to get a blog going for some time now. Life is very busy and business is good. My sister is terminally ill and so is taking precident over everything else. She learned to weave when she retired 3 years ago. I was so hoping to share my knowledge with her. Guess I will have to find another victim.

I will be traveling to Indiana this month, taking my dog Kelly with me. She generally has to stay home when mom is gone working.

I hope all of you are finishing your gifts for the holidays and if not be sure to make a creative IOU note card for the empty boxes.

I am currently working on our next new sock and lace yarn. It is called Platinum Soie, has silver and silk with merino superwash. A very decadent yarn indeed. Caleb will be here taking care of the dyeing in my absence.

Happy knitting and weaving to all.
